This is a list of vocabulary items related to the seasons of the year and the weather.

The seasons of the year:

Summer
In summer,	it's hot. it's sunny. people go to the beach. People usually go on holiday.

Autumn

PROYECTO DE PERIODO CUARTO PERIODO DE INGLÉS

ELABORACIÓN DE PELÍCULA EN INGLÉS – CORTOMETRAJE.

Para la elaboración del cortometraje en Inglés o película en Inglés, se formaron grupos de entre 10 y 12 estudiantes para que se reúnan TAN SOLO 1 VEZ para la filmación de la misma, la duración de la película será entre 8 y 12 minutos, los temas son libres siempre y cuando dejen una enseñanza y moraleja a la juventud, los temas tratados deberán ser tomados con mucho respeto,  todos los grupos ya tienen fijada su fecha de entrega ( semana comprendida entre el 18 y 22 de noviembre del presente año), el líder del grupo entregará la película al docente en una memoria USB y le será devuelta inmediatamente tan pronto se transfiera el archivo para ser evaluado por el docente.

No olviden que la película deberá ser hablada totalmente en Inglés y deberá obligatoriamente llevar subtítulos en INGLÉS, igualmente la película tendrá sus respectivos créditos o nombres de los actores y actrices, música de fondo y todo lo que conlleva una buena producción cinematográfica. Hay muchos programas para edición de videos en Internet, siendo el más fácil de manejar y gratuito: “MOVIE MAKER”.

A todos los grados se les explicó de manera presencial como hacer la película en clase y los mismos estudiantes formaron sus grupos teniendo en cuenta su comodidad.

El proyecto proporciona 4 notas, 1. Actuación, 2. Pronunciación en Inglés, 3. Vestuario o disfraz dentro de la película de cada estudiante, 4. Edición del video.

Pasado simple: 'There was, there were' 

Es la forma pasada de there is / there are. 

There was a chair	Había una silla
There were some chairs	Había unas sillas

 Al igual que en el presente simple usaremos 'there was' cuando el sustantivo al que acompaña es un sustantivo contable en singular o uno incontable y 'there were' con los sustantivos contables en plural.

Afirmativo 

Hay que tener en cuenta que 'there was' y 'there were' no se puede contraer en la forma afirmativa. Se forma con el pasado del verbo 'to be' en singular o plural, según corresponda.

plural	There were some banks	Había algunos bancos

 Negativo 

El negativo se forma poniendo el pasado del verbo 'to be' en forma negativa (there was not / there were not). Es frecuente el uso de la forma contraída (there wasn't / there weren't).

plural forma corta	There weren't any shops	No habían tiendas
singular forma larga	There was not a shop	No había una tienda
plural forma larga	There were not any shops	No habían tiendas

 Interrogativo 

El interrogativo se forma con el verbo "to be" en pasado (was/were) seguido de "there".

Estas preguntas suelen responderse con la forma corta: "Yes, there was/were" o "No, there wasn't/weren't".

AVISO INFORMATIVO A ESTUDIANTES DE LA CAMPIÑA EN EL ÁREA DE INGLÉS. Cordial saludo apreciados estudiantes, el profe les informa que por motivos de viaje al exterior, debido a beca de diplomado otorgada por el gobierno de la india, con el aval del ministerio de educación nacional de Colombia, se encontrará ausente del colegio y del país desde el 10 de octubre al 27 de octubre del año en curso, por tal motivo, el profe, les pide encarecidamente que se porten muy bien, que hagan las tareas, trabajos y actividades que se les encomiende, de igual forma, el profe estará continuamente ingresando desde la distancia y monitoreando sus avances académicos, recuerden que tienen un blog y una página fb para comunicarse con el profe en caso de cualquier inquietud. En cuanto al proyecto de periodo de Inglés no os  preocupéis que tan pronto el profe regrese establece los lineamientos para el proyecto de éste periodo, para entregarlo aún hay demasiado tiempo. Los que se comprometieron en baile, canto y disfraz para el día del Inglés en la semana cultural, por favor, no olviden ir preparando sus presentaciones. No olviden revisar constantemente el blog y la página fb, las secretarias, por favor, tomaran nota de todos aquellos estudiantes que NO cumplan con sus obligaciones escolares y disciplinarias para las respectivas emes y puntos negativos en el SER. Todas las actividades como crucigramas y demás que hayan quedado pendientes se revisarán a mi regreso, al igual que las recuperaciones se pasará la nota tambien a mi llegada. Un gran abrazo.
